Sketchbook: Outdoor Concert

sketches from an outdoor concert at a vineyard (the difference between this and a normal outdoor concert being, everyone's extremely drunk on wine instead of being extremely drunk on beer).

Jenny and Alan have already seen this, but...

mostly just for the hell of it, i converted a poem i wrote called "the alchemist's wife" into a six-page comic in walnut and india ink. it was kind of a fun process, bc the walnut ink is water-soluble, but the india ink isn't.

small ink portrait commission

last week i was commissioned to do a small two-color ink portrait in the style of a book i made. it was very straightforward and painless; the couple that hired me were super nice and enthusiastic about everything, which was lovely.

Inaugural Sketches

Hello fellow sketchers, I haven't posted anything here so I will share two sketches from experiences earlier in the summer. One is a sketch of Chris Ware! when I saw him speak in Chicago, and one is a drawing I made while sitting with Alan outside of Starbux in STL. Over and out!
